Athlio Coach — youth sports tryout and evaluation software.
What we collect
When a parent or guardian fills in a signup link we store: the parent’s name and email, and the player’s first name, last name, birth year, and preferred positions. Coaches may add the same fields directly, plus a jersey number and a note.
We never collect a player’s date of birth, address, phone number, photo, or video. Birth year alone is what an age group needs.
What we do not do
- No advertising, and no data sold or shared with advertisers, ever.
- No analytics or tracking SDKs in the app or on this site.
- No third-party scripts on this page.
- No public profiles — results are visible to the coaching staff of one team.
Children’s data
A parent or legal guardian attests to that relationship before any player information is submitted through a signup link. We collect the minimum a coach needs to run a tryout, keep it for a limited time, and delete it. Parents may ask their coach to remove a player at any time; deletion removes the record within 30 days.
How long we keep it
- Deleted records are purged within 30 days.
- Players with no session activity are anonymized after the team’s retention window (24 months by default).
- Signup entries that are declined or never accepted are removed 60 days after the session.
- Accepted entries are removed with the session they belong to.
A coach may choose to email a family their result or report. That happens only when the coach opts in at send time, and only to the address given on the signup form.
